2023年的夏至日，深美外籍人员子女学校举行了一年一度的毕业典礼，学前班，五年级，八年级迎来了新的毕业生。
Just on the summer solstice of 2023, Shenzhen American International School held the annual graduation ceremony for pre-K, G5 and G8.

夏至是中国二十四节气之一，标志着夏天的到来，在这个气候热烈，阳光明媚的夏日上午，学前班与五年级率先开始了他们的毕业典礼。
The summer solstice is one of China"s 24 solar terms, marking the arrival of summer. On this warm, sunny summer morning, the pre-K and G5 started their graduation ceremony first.
毕业典礼在深圳湾游艇会的海滨栈道举行，在这个热烈的天气中，海风也是柔和清爽的，随着优雅的钢琴曲，毕业典礼拉开了帷幕。
The graduation ceremony was held at the Shenzhen Bay Marina Club"s (SMC)waterfront walkway. In this warm weather, the sea breeze was also soft and refreshing, and the graduation ceremony kicked off with elegant piano music.
学术校长Nathan Abbott先生率先上场，祝贺学前班和五年级的孩子们毕业快乐，代表深美送上了祝福。Mr. Nathan Abbott, Academic Principal, was the first to take the stage and congratulated the pre and 5 children on their happy graduation, sending his best wishes on behalf of SAIS.
随后，学前班班主任Mr. Finn和五年级班主任Mr. Max Klein为各自班级的毕业生颁发了毕业证书。
Afterwards, Mr. Finn, the pre-K teacher, and Mr. Max Klein, the G5 teacher, presented graduation certificates to their graduates.

毕业典礼结束后，深圳湾游艇会特别为深美同学们准备了水上运动项目的体验活动，学前班和五年级的孩子们体验了皮划艇的乐趣，五彩斑斓的皮划艇为夏至的毕业典礼平添了夺目的色彩。
After the graduation ceremony, SMC specially prepared water sports experience activities for the SAIS students, the pre-K and G5 children experienced the fun of kayaking, which added colors to this graduation on summer solstice.
下午一点半，随着乐队SIK的倾情演出Heaven"s on Fire，八年级的同学们迎来了他们的毕业典礼。
At 1:30 p.m., the 8th graders celebrated their graduation ceremony with the band SIK"s performance: Heaven"s on Fire.
演出结束后，Nathan校长为八年级的毕业生们送上了自己的祝福。
After the performance, Mr. Nathan gave his best wishes to the G8 graduates.
典礼现场特别请到了著名童话作家、画家周艺文老师，著名诗人周瑟瑟老师，分别为在场的毕业生们送上了祝福。
At the ceremony, we specially invited the famous children"s story writer and painter, Mr. Zhou Yiwen, and the famous poet, Mr. Zhou Sese, to give their blessings to our graduates.
之后嘉宾们在毕业典礼背景板前合影留念。
Afterwards, the guests took a group photo in front of the backdrop of the graduation ceremony.
中学部的老师们Ms. Palle和Mr. Barber也进行了精彩的发言，祝福所有的八年级毕业生们未来光明坦途，生活顺遂。
Ms. Palle and Mr. Barber, the teachers of secondary school, also gave wonderful speeches and wished all the G8 graduates a bright and prosperous future.
八年级的同学之后领取了自己的毕业证书，并和校长、老师们合了影。
The 8th graders received their diplomas afterwards and had their pictures taken with the principal and teachers.

帽子被高高抛向空中的那一刻，炎炎夏至的这一场毕业典礼气氛被推向了高潮。

属于高年级的典礼狂欢比上午更加精彩，动力板表演更是让在场所有的师生、家长、嘉宾都赞叹不已。
The ceremony carnival belonging to the G8 graduates was even more exciting than the morning, and the power board performance was admired by all the teachers, students, parents and guests present.
我们的学生在专业教练的指导下也尝试了动力板，在清凉的海水中，不但可以体验肾上腺素飙升的快乐，更是能消解酷暑带来的炎热。
Our students also tried powerboarding under the guidance of professional coaches. In the cool sea water, they could not only experience the joy of adrenaline rush, but also dissipate the heat brought by the scorching summer.
动力板项目非常考验孩子的平衡力和水性，在这短短四十分钟的体验课程中，高年级的孩子们学会了克服对水的恐惧，同时也快速地掌握了在动力板上保持平衡的能力，学会了在水中快速上板。
The powerboard project is a great test of children"s balanceand water power. In this short forty-minute experience course, the secondary studentslearned to overcome their fear of water and also quickly mastered the ability to maintain balance on the powerboard and learned to get on the board quickly in the water.
我们希望通过在动力板上的平衡练习与和海洋的近距离接触，培养深美学生的无畏精神，勇于面对困难，拥有直挂云帆济沧海的气势——这种气势无论他们以后走向什么地方，都将是他们自信自爱的源泉。
We hope that through the balance exercise on the powerboard and the close contact with the ocean, we can cultivate the fearless spirit of SAIS students, - this courage will be the source of their self-confidence and self-loveno matter where they go in the future.
当然，也有不想在水中翻滚的学生们选择了更加平和一些的皮划艇，在午后的日光下体验海滨景色，也别有一番风味。
Of course, some students who didn"t want to roll around in the water chose the more sedate option of kayaking and experiencing the seaside scenery in the afternoon sunlight, which was also unique.
毕业典礼在15:30准时结束，同学们也迎来了期待已久的暑假，深美在这里祝所有的同学、家长们暑期愉快，端午安康！
